Letter from another scammer
I usually don’t go out seeking fraudulent scammers to expose, but apparently, Kevin Porter of Powerline support wanted me to evaluate his product when he reported himself via our iSpin Report service. This is his email:
I clicked on the ‘about’ link on you site and read the first sentence or two, which states;
The Spin Factor is a open-minded and neutral for-profit organization concerned with the lies perpetrated by all media; especially liberal media. On occasion we comment on the conservative media to set an example for our hippie brothersSo you are neutral, but biased ’especially’ against the liberal media, and occasionally a comment to the conservatives to set an example. What??
There is nothing neutral about you. It is comical that people cannot look into the mirror, or in your case, read your own words and say who you really are. You dont know!
Learn and say who you really are and stick to it. You are a politician or work for one.
Kevin Porter
Among Kevin Porter’s scams:
Selling vitamin A and cyanobacteria extract as stem cell enhancers. That is, an unproven product worth cents along with a $299 distribution package.
If you want to treat yourself to cyanobacteria, you might as well take spirulina. If you want the antioxidative properties, go with green tea.
So what’s the reason for distributing the product through a multi-level marketing scheme? Perhaps Kevin Porter would only make a few cents if he didn’t sell the distribution package.
He is also selling water condensers and ionizers as if they produced miracle “Kangen” water.
And his hyped-up website is also promoting “The Secret” which is, of course, another scam.
Regarding our website, of course it’s not neutral. We are satirizing political commentators like Bill O’Reilly. On the other hand, our many serious articles are libertarian-leaning, meaning we believe the Kevin Porters and Trudeaus of the world ought to be free to sell whatever trash they want, as long as they don’t hurt anyone.
Along the same lines, I ought to be free to expose their pseudo-scientific trash.
