Problems with JailbreakMe.com Star 2.0 hack
After installing Cydia for our 3G iPhone, our wifi connection worked just fine. But then we restarted the iPhone with a soft boot and the wifi connection no longer worked despite the fact that it was listed as available. To fix that we “forgot” the connection and entered the password once again. However, we have to do this everytime we want to connect.
In addition, the default OpenSSH does not work. You have to install the latest version through Cydia. Also the default Mobile Terminal does not work with iOS 4.01. You have to install it through OpenSSH first.
It’s great that the iPhone 4.01 has been jailbroken, but if the wifi connection has to be dropped everytime we turn off the phone, then it’s currently not worth jailbreaking.

Very nice article. I think that wifi connection is good enough to be considered in patients receiving chemotherapy. hacking hotspots at airports and other public places such as schools or libraries is possible for us.
